One Month Old

I have several posts to catchup on but for now ..........

Happy One Month River!

River, you have won over the heart of your big brother.....he is very protective of you and enjoying that you are starting to watch him play more and more!

 You still sleep all the time but we are seeing a little bit more awake time now and then..if only it was not always in the middle of the night!

We can't believe how much you have grown! And really hope a few more pounds will get you closer to sleeping through the night : )

Too Cute For Words

After a last minute win, we all settled down to enjoy the win!  While I was feeding River, Mason came over and did this.......

I just cant wait to see this relationship contunie to grow!

****Oh and today really is River's Thrid Week with us......suprise i was a day early!!!!

Three Weeks Old

River had his first bath....

River is doing great.  He is still eating great and sleeping well.  His belly button fell out the other day as well.  He is doing tummy time ok.  Mostly with tears but Mason did get down today on his belly to show baby brother how to do it!  We will get an official weight this week at the doctor.  Happy Three Weeks little one! We love you more then the stars in the sky!

Two Weeks Old

Can you believe it???? It still seems so surreal that River has been part of our family for two whole weeks!  Here is his 2nd week review in pictures........

We are all adjusting well to being a family of four.  Mason is starting to take more interest in his little brother which is super sweet.  River is an awesome eater and sleeper.  He is currently getting up every 3-4 hours and drinking about 2oz every time.   

River's First Dr. Visit

Today we made out first trip to see our pediatrician.  The visit went great and River slept through most of it!
Here are his stats:
Weight: 4 lbs 15.5 oz 10-25%
Length: 18. 25 inches 10-25%
Head: 33.5 cm 10-25%

So he is on the regular chart in all areas!!!!  He is up 3.5 oz since we brought him home and since we are considered "experienced" parents (since we already had one baby) we don't have to go back for two weeks unless of course we feel there is a need for a weight check next week.

Granny and Pa leave very early tomorrow morning, so the rest of today was just having special time together!

We are so very thankful that Granny and Pa were able to come and spend so much time with us.  Even though it was not the Christmas trip we had planned we still have made great memories!  We are going to miss them very much and can't wait until we get to see them again!

A New Bed

A few days after Christmas Mason, Granny and Pa picked out a new bed for Mason.  After a bit of a snag in the mattress world it finally arrived the NIGHT before baby brother was to come home!!!

And now they have been camping out with Mason to try to get him to sleep in his bed.....so far he loves the camper more BUT is very excited to have his new bed!!! Thanks to Granny and Pa for getting the bed and getting everything ready for Mason to have this new bed so that River could use the crib!  They organized and rearranged the room so that we did not have to worry about it at all♡♡♡
