Day ELEVEN

Today was our yearly visit to the University of Washington Hospital for Mason's growth and development checkup.  All went well and Mason is up to 26.6 pounds and 36 inches tall.  Everything is great and now we don't go back until he hits 4 1/2 years old!  I can't believe that in a few short days we will be celebrating him coming home after 90 LONG days in the NICU!

After our nap we did a bit of tree decorating.  Not much but hey it still counts : )

Day TEN

Today was a day of adventure!  First we had gymnastics class. 
Where we did this...

And this......And some standing on our heads...

 It is safe to say four weeks in and we are finally feeling at home at the gym and having a blast!

After the gym we headed here......

And saw this...yup that is a man at the top of that tree cutting down the branches!

But as neat as it was the real reason we went was to see this......

The frozen falls!!!

We then did some Christmas shopping : )

And lunch eating....

All worn out!

The activity of the day was tree Decorating.

And LOTS of glitter glue: )

We ended our night with these.....

Which will be mailed out in the morning!

Tomorrow we go to UW for our yearly visit!

Day NINE

So this morning we woke up and decided that we needed to have a snowball fight with Pa and Uncle Jonathan.  (They both got hit by a snow storm last night)  But us Seattle dwellers did not get hit by any snow storm.....just very cold temps SO we needed to make snow!!!!!  So day nine became making snow day! 

You will need baking soda and conditioner. Make sure it is white otherwise you will have colored snow!  We used the whole box of baking soda and very little conditioner.  Just a few squeezes.  

Then you need to mix the two together.

 It is natually cool to the touch.  It is moldable and if some gets on the floor you can just sweep it with a broom.  Best snow ever!!!!

Then you are ready to have a snowball fight!

Or just building snow castles...

Or filling buckets....

Or whatever your heart desires.

Mason played all morning long with his snow and I think will for a while.  I did ended up using two boxes of baking soda but could really use more snow so off to Costco I go to get more baking soda and our Christmas cards!!!!!!

Day EIGHT

Today was a lazy day.  For the record we did leave the house to go to church but that was it! : )  with that said you would possibly think we did some great project but truth be told we dabbled in a couple and Mason really could have cared less about them.  It was a playdough kind of day!

We did paint this.......

Maybe tomorrow we will finish our snowmen with hats and faces or maybe not but either way we are still having fun making projects!

And we did string beads.....

Simple but yet fun to make.  Until tomorrow goodnight!

Day SEVEN

Today we went to a cookie exchange party!  Mommy slaved away in the kitchen yesterday making 10 dozen cookies but it was totally worth it : )  Our friends, the Kennedy Family, were kind enough to host it and provide us with all the cookies we could eat/decorate!!!

Upon arrival Mason jumped right in and started playing with the boys.

After a bit of playing 

it was time to decorate!

Day SIX

Today we started with a trip to our local library to hear a story and see it acted out!  Any guesses?????

You probably all guessed right.......

What else would 

it be but the Nutcracker!

The local dance studio brought two of their dancers to do a few dances from the ballet.  Mason thought it was neat to see but is not ready to sit through the whole ballet yet!!!

After lunch we did our craft which needed us to first wash the window......

The supplies for today were a glue gun and different colored glue sticks.

Mason did a great job of using the glue gun all by himself and made beautiful snowflakes!

He made the big lines and I helped with the little lines.  

**These "window clings" are not as easy to remove as I thought they would be but they were fun to make and do add some character to our front windows ; )
