Advent Day Eight

Today was a fairly simple project...

Simple but fun! Maybe we will decorate it maybe not : )

Advent Day Seven

Oh Christmas Tree...

First came the paint...

Then a foot bath : )

 While we waited for the paint to dry Mason pretended to hang Christmas lights!

 Final step was decorating our foot tree!

Advent Day Six

Today was a paint/clay day.  Mason made his hand print and once dry mommy will finish it up.  No final pictures because this is a gift : )

As you can see we had lots of fun!

Oh and just for fun here was my shopping partner today when I had to quick run and get a can of soup for the dinner I was making!

Advent Day Five

Today we tackled ink ornaments. .......

The set up

We started with a little ink...

Then added more....

And in true four year old fashion we moved on to the ball ornaments! 

And the finished project!

It actually was semi simple and easy to do : )

I even gave it a try......

Let's just say there is more fun to be had trying different ways!  

On a side note our tree got a new star....Mason insisted on a light up one......here is the one he picked out!!!!!

Advent Day Four

We started with some paint......

Then drew a triangle.......

 

Added the paint, with a paper towel roll, to the triangle

Like how he did the outline first?

Added a "string of lights"

Drew a star on top.

Added some ornaments....

And once you've done all that you end up with.......

An awesome Christmas tree!!! It even has a blue "blanket" under it

 (also known as a tree skirt)

Advent Day 3 & 30 Weeks

Seeing how today is Tuesday I have the usual baby #2 update for everyone : )  Today I got to see TWO doctors......lucky me!!!  I started off with my normal OB and after a few measurements was sent on my way.  Tom had met us there and took Mason home so I headed to the mall to do a bit of Christmas shopping without my four year old sidekick! 
Then came the high risk doctor appointment which ment a full ultrasound with baby measurements.  Here are a couple of peaks.....he was moving a lot and always had a foot or hand or both covering most of his face!

He is still measuring big and is tipping the scales at 4 lbs 3 oz putting him in the 93% tile!

Everything looked awesome and my fluid level was great so we are still steady as we go : )  I am starting to be uncomfortable at times and wake up every couple of hours to go potty and change positions but that is not anything I can't handle or really be thankful for.

As for my sidekick and his Advent activities here he is today....

  

I just love his skinny jeans : )

 And he loves his hat.....which is just like his cousin's Caleb's hat.  

(Who he fell in love with while they were visiting!)

Ok on to our project.....

We picked a simple one today just because it was a busy day...

Simple but fun!  Mason loved the glitter and just kept dumping and dumping it : )  

Oh and the letters in the background..... not the baby's name but decore for the boys train themed room!

Advent day two

Today Mason was very excited to pick a project to complete.   He actually picked it BEFORE he ate breakfast!!!

He was really excited to have yarn (just like Nana) and balls.....

He was not as excited to not get knitting needles and instead having to make reindeer!

But then he got to use HIS scissors! 

Wrapping the yarn was tricky but we worked together : )

all done!  

Tomorrow is filled with two doctor's appointments for me, but hopefully they will go smoothly and we will have lots of time to do other fun stuff!!!
