Salmon Days

Today we decided to venture out to the Issaquah Salmon Days...
We started with  making our own fish print
Mason's color choice.....a mostly orange fish!!!
Then we went to the inflatable section!
He LOVED these .......
We got a neat bubble blower that makes BIG bubbles!
Rode a train
River fell asleep!
I took advantage and got a picture of tooth #3!
Mason tested how fast he could throw.   His best was 24 mph!
Tried a HUGE corndog!
AND square of fries
Even River enjoyed those : )
As you can tell we had a WONDERFUL time!  It was lots of fun walking around looking at different vendors and also getting lots of FREE stuff.

How To Build a Firetruck

Today we headed down to our local Home Depot to try out the kids workshop!  We had never participated before but when we found out it was make your own firetruck we knew we just had to try it out!!!

First thing we got an apron and a firetruck pin to put on it.  Every workshop you attend you get a new pin!  We were also given a kit and instructions. We made our way to the "tables" and begun working!  It was fun to get to sit on buckets as chairs!
First we assembled the front of the truck....
Then added the ladders and wheels.....
Finally the stickers.....
and just like that we were done!!!!
So much fun we had!!!!!!
Since we left the house early we decided we needed a little treat when we were all done : )
Purple monster donut for the win!
River enjoyed his first traditional plain......
Loved it so much this happened.....
He would not let go!!!!
Had to try out the stools.....
Once we made it home the firetruck was played with all day long!  We have already marked our calendar for the first Saturday of November when we get to make a JET!!!!!

River's 9 Month Stats

Today we went and saw Dr. Spiegel.  All good news to report!  River is staying right on his growth curve and one very healthy baby!

Here are the stats:
Weight: 17lbs 7oz (5-10%)
Height: 27 inches  (10-25%)
Head Circumference: 45.25 cm (25-50%)
Iron was 11 something
River got one shot and has done OK all day.  Well at least with the shot.  He just had his front right tooth breakthrough  AND there are 3 more very very close!!!! Needless  to say he has had a couple doses of baby Tylenol.  That did not stop us from having fun at the park : )
oh yeah and this is how he kisses!!
