A Tradition Unlike Any Other

 

We are gearing up for a weekend of golf......

We bathed .....

Took a nap.....

and warmed up for a weekend of fun!!!

Lunch Date

We got to have lunch with someone special today! River loved Alicia!

 We are happy we were able to visit with her before she heads back to California tomorrow!

 We had a lazy family day.  We spent much time playing outside and hanging out in our PJ's! 

 Oh and by the end of the night Mason turned into a bunny himself!!!

Bunny Bounce at the Zoo

Mason chose to go to the zoo's egg hunt today over the neighborhood egg hunt.  Believe it or not we had a great time!  First we did the egg hunt...

Mason did really good this year.  No tears and he had lots of fun getting eggs.  There is no candy in them for the safety of the animals so there are lots and lots of eggs.  When done you then "recycle" them for the next group to get.

Then we saw the Easter Bunny

I was glad to see him....made my gilt disappear for not taking River for his "first" holiday picture!

Then it was off to the "bounce house".  It ended up being a trampoline but Mason still enjoyed!

 Of course we rode the carousel! 

And then walked around the zoo....

The animals all had special Easter treats!

 Mason was excited to see the whole family of lions out.....he really loves the daddy : )

Another treat was getting to feed the birds.  Right now you can only do this on the weekends and yeah we normally go during the week.

As we were finishing up we decided to do the other Easter activities......the crowd had died down and we did not have to wait in any lines.

Then we finished our trip with a little Dicks Drive in.  

Currently Tom and Mason are camping out downstairs. ......lets see if they catch the Easter Bunny tonight : )

We all woke up in great moods so I figured it was a good day to try to take River's First Easter Pictures!
