Today we got to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a baby. An old coworker turned friend is expecting and her baby shower was this afternoon. On our way we found an awesome Christmas Shoppe that we just HAD to explore : )

Another friend, Natalka, came with us and helped make sure little fingers did not touch anything : )
We had a great time at the baby shower and Mason was great!
After a nice long nap in the car we got home and were ready to do our activity for the day. Today we played with candy canes.

Mason loves to make circles, draw circles, paint circles. So no surprise he molded his candy canes into circles!
They were a lot of fun. They were really only playable for maybe 30 seconds so we had to work fast. Mason liked it so much we ended up doing another tray of them.

Mommy had to try it out herself and ended up with hearts and a swirl. Fun was had by all for sure!
