Day of LOVE

Today was a day showered in love.  I have always thought of Valentine's Day to be a "Hallmark" holiday.  I believe that you should always tell people how much you love them and how much they mean to you each and everyday.  With that said I am still a sucker for all things holidays : ) I have been "pinning" projects for months that I wanted to complete for Valentine's Day.

So here are a few that I/Mason completed......

Water color hearts that you add glue and salt to

Once dried they are really neat because the glue kind of Tye-dyes the paint and the salt sucks up the water
We painted on canvas.  This one had heart cut outs on it.
Another one was just paint and a final one had the word Love.
This one is my favorite : )
 Made these jars for Tom...
and I could not resist making these as well : )
 Gum drop arrows...

 Some very STICKY fortune cookies

With Mason's love of bouncy balls I thought this Valentine was very fitting for him to give out to his friends
And of course we had to give them all a cake pop!

There are a few more projects that are not pictured but I think you get the idea....LOTS of projects around these parts these days : )

Now back to today's fun!  We met up with Crystal and Asher at a "bouncy house" place and had a blast!
There was a train to ride.....
 A slide....
 A bouncy slide....

 A balloon bounce room....

A ball carousel.....

Yup even played with the baby car toy...
Climbed on the moving ball sphere.....

 The boys even played TOGETHER!!!!!

Yup both ended up in the baby area!!!

 Train table...
 Snack time....a special Valentine's Treat....
They even had Valentine crafts ....
Here is the set up of the back of the place...
 And the front...

As you can tell lots of fun was had by the boys and the moms even got a bit of time to sit and chat!
As we were leaving both boys wanted to ride the big carousel.....and hey it was VALENTINE'S DAY so I bought them both a ride!

They both were over the moon to get a ride....

 That's for you Uncle Jonathan!

After the ride it was time to say good-bye to Asher and head to lunch.....

Alicia met up with us so Mason could be her VALENTINE!!!

They were going for the romantic locking arms wedding picture but Mason thought this was a better look!  After this picture my phone died from all the photos I had taken but I am sure you can guess where we went to lunch and what we may have gotten for dessert.....

Once we made it home it was time to give Daddy some love and open up a few small gifts...
Mason went first and got .....
A new movie....Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2.....don't worry we already "watched" it twice tonight : )
 Mason helping Daddy.....
Mason explaining to Daddy how he made this plate and those were his hand prints.  And no Mason never told Tom that he made this plate before he opened it.....great secret keeper : )
And of course a new Seahawks flag....This is Mason explaining how Daddy has to nail nails into these holes to hang it outside.

As for me I got beautiful flowers and a new kitchen timer.  Today was truly a special day full of extra special love.  I know it may be a cheesy holiday to some, but it is a great day to make an extra effort to let the people near and dear to our hearts know that we LOVE them!!!!  No matter the distance we love each and everyone of you and we thank God each day for what you add to our lives.
Happy Valentine's Day---WE LOVE YOU!
