Well last night we made it through half the night in all our own beds......Mason was first up at 12:30.....his feet in Tom's back then sent Tom to the couch.....then at 2:15 River woke up......well at least we tried : ) Hopefully tonight will be a bit better!!!
River is already down and Mason and I are having one last snuggle before we both go to bed.
He can grab and get it into his mouth! First before we get into today's activities lets talk about right now........
Yup River is sleeping in his crib for the first NIGHT!!! Here's to hoping that he makes it through the night and does not wake up.....or wake up Mason for that matter!!!!
once unlocked we climbed up the ladder. It was a bit steep but we made it.....
Mason thought it was "too high" but River was all smiles and enjoyed the view!
Lets just say it was neat but no where as cool as we both thought it would be!
So off we went exploring! Just one of the many hills I had to climb (with a stroller none the less)
one part of the trail even takes you under the nearby freeway!
We found an empty nest
Over the marsh areas the trail was wood planks....the other parts were fresh bark....yup I was covered by the end....and got a great workout pushing a stroller over a freshly barked trail!!!!! 
The trails would wind in and out around the water.
Over a bridge we went!
And finally made it back to the car after several hours thanks to Mason's direction choices!

We made it home safe and sound and continued playing outside in the sunny warm weather until it was time for a bath and bed. Hopefully everyone will sleep well into tomorrow and I wake up and can MOVE!!!Time really needs to STOP! River today you have been with us for 5 months! A few highlights from this passed month:
*as of yesterday you are officially wearing size THREE diapers
*you roll from back to front and stay on your front and try to get places......you either get up on all fours (like a bear) and push or "crawl". You will be going places very VERY soon!
*you still LOVE your brother and always want to be looking at him or playing with him.
*you are pretty much sleeping through the night but still are with me because you seem to go to bed after Mason each night making it impossible to put you in your own bed!
*As for a schedule.....well you are taking a nap in the morning and afternoon BUT the times are still varying depending on your mood.
*you are very ticklish and I get some of the best laughs out of you when changing your clothes!
*you are still a nursing champ.....maybe to much but hey I still love all the bonding we get during these times♡♡♡
*you also got to visit a tide pool and help Mommy with a garage sale!
Today we celebrated with a nice LONG walk AND your first swing ride!

Yup River is now rolling from his back to his belly.....
He finally figured out how to get his arm out of the way.....well at least most of the time!!!!
Today Seattle had a very low tide and at one of the beaches, which has a great tide pool, they had a park ranger guided tour. Of course we just had to go exploring!!!!!
This was by far the most amazing part.....a bald eagle had been sitting in a nearby tree and all of a sudden it came right down into the pool and ate a fish!!!! He was only about 50 feet away!!!! An experience of a lifetime.

Of course the beach park had a salmon slide!!!
We had lots and lots of fun!
It has been put on the list of things to do again very soon!The other day we had been spending the day out and about as a family. When we got home there were SEVERAL BIG boxes on our pourch. We took them inside and began to open them...... after discovering that we would have to assemble them we decided to wait until the morning. Then the fun began. .......

Then today we FINALLY got to take it for a spin (thanks to the rain stopping) yes River was not happy but that was not the stroller but because it was bed/nap time!

Thank you Granny and Pa for the Mother's Day, Father's Day, anniversary, Birthdays etc gift!!!! This stroller is AMAZING ......we will no longer have to fight the stroller veering right!
