Today we rode the Santa Train!!!!

Once on board, the train took us from the North Bend depot to the Snoqualmie depot. There we got to see Santa...
Explaining to Santa what he wants......today it was a remote control x-wing.
Then River joined in...

Santa gave everyone a train whistle!
After saying good bye to Santa we headed to get some hot cocoa and cookies!

Choosing from oatmeal, chocolate chip or snicker doodles......Mason picked snicker doodles!
We had some time to wait for the train to take us back to North Bend so we played a bit!
We were lucky in that today was the only day that the Santa Train was actually pulled but the steam locomotive!!! What a treat that was : )
Going home...
We sure had a blast! River LOVED riding on the train and enjoyed watching out the window. Mason enjoyed Santa and the sweet treats!
Later this evening I started the task of frosting all the sugar cookies I made.......
And lucky me had a helper!
Now off to finish the task while everyone else is sleeping : )
