As usual we started off with our Legos calender ......
Because of all the rain and wind storms we have been having all day yesterday and through the night the Snoqualmie River had flood out of its banks down by the elementary school and lots of people were without power and trapped inside their houses/developments. Therefore school was closed for the entire district which then ment Mason had no school. ---don't worry we never lost power and we are on high ground so no flooding either!
Since Tom was off and we had no other plans we decided to take advantage of the day off and head to a special Christmas display downtown Seattle......
Everything was eatable. The structure was Rice Krispy covered by various candies. I can only imagine how many hours were spent planning it out and then making each one. They were very very neat. If you are a local I suggest checking them out!!!!
I forsee a tree like this in our house one day very very soon!!! We already have the snowflakes, light sabers, and Darth Vader masks!!!!!
The night ended with our first batch of gingersnaps! Don't worry (about the finger licking) I am sure these will all be eaten by us!!! Now just to wait for the dough to be done in the freezer!!!
**Today's ornament was a frog!
Yesterday's was a fairy!
