WildLights

So a few weeks ago.....OK a MONTH ago we took Mason, Nana, and Papa to see the WildLights at the local zoo.  We thought it would be great to get to do something with the grandparents since all family lives out of town.  Well we lucked out as it had rained all day and then cleared up in time to get in the Christmas spirit!  We even were able to meet up with our friends and their son.  It was cold but we still had a blast and both boys could not get enough!

I forced the group shot and then had to take the picture : )
This was the first year this zoo did this event and they had lights EVERYWHERE!
Mason made Nana carry him just about the whole time.

The only animal we saw was the reindeer. (the rest were sleeping)

This is my FAVORITE picture of the night.  Thanks again Nana and Papa for joining us!

BOO

Mason really enjoyed Halloween this year.  We did walked around the block and gathered a bit of candy but of course Mason enjoyed knocking on the doors and then waving good-bye to each home we stopped at more then the candy he was given.  I think the real fun came once we came home and he got to answer the door and give the other kids candy.  No matter what or where he was as soon as there was a knock on the door he would stop and go running to the door.  Now Mason can reach the door knob (and open his bedroom door) but the front door is just a bit to heavy for him.  So he would simply knock back letting them know that he was there.  Once Tom or I would open the door Mason would look at the kids smile, point and talk about the different costumes.  He would then proceed to give each person a hand full of candy.  As the kids would leave he would wave and yell good-bye after them.  Overall we had a great time.  Here are a few pictures of the little guys outfit.......

Yes Mason was a CHICKEN and his arm had a button that when pushed played the Chicken Dance song!!!!
