Home, Home on the Range

Today was an amazing day for Mason.  A little over a week ago Tom and Mason started going to the "Daddy Golf Course".  At said course Mason has been practicing putting.  Mason only has a set of plastic golf clubs and Tom would only let him use his clubs on the putting green.  Mason has done really well with obeying the rules of golf like NO running on the green, being quiet while others are around, NO jumping on the green and several more.  After the first visit Mason has been begging for his own set of "real" clubs so that he could hit balls on the driving range.  Well of course because he has chosen to be a lefty that meant we had to order clubs.  We had already decided that that was what he was getting for his birthday so we ordered them a bit early.......Well we were told that the shipment of these clubs would be on Saturday.  Every day we have talked about the countdown until Saturday!  Today as we were doing our normal morning routine we heard a "big" truck pull up.  We hurried outside and to our surprise Mason shipment was a day EARLY!!!!     

 

The hardest part of the day was waiting for Tom to get home so that we could go to the range.  Once he got home we were off!!!

Once on the range Daddy told us all the rules.

 

Then it was go time!!!!

 

After several hits it is important to take a break and watch Daddy hit a few.

 

After a bit of a rest it is go time again!

 Once all the balls were hit we ended the night on the putting green.  Over all Mason did an awesome job hitting the balls and following directions.  It was lots of fun to watch him hit and learn from his Daddy.  I foresee lot of range time in our future : )
