Little man's first Santa experience

Last year, Mason was out of the hospital in time to get a photo with Santa. Unfortunately, Santa would have to wait as he was somewhat quarantined and was unable to go out into a huge amount of public and get photos. That all changed today!

What occurred is told through the progression of a few photos........beware, possible meltdown lies ahead.

A curious little boy sits on Santa's lap for the first time. Santa whispers in his ear to try to calm him down as he is a tough agitated right off the bat.

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain ha ha. The little man does not take too well to the whispering and so Santa does all he can to get the photos taken care of as quickly as possible to avoid total catastrophie.

Breaking down..........really breaking down.

Meltdown!!!!!!!!!!

Total child panic and a calling for Mom, who is behind the camera by the way.

Resized if you would like to make this your screensaver...........poor baby boy.

Resized meltdown to make it more dramatic.

The resized decent start, before the water works.

Mason did very well waiting in line and even got to see Santa before he was in front of the backdrop. Santa tried all he could to get him to calm down and it just wasn't going to happen. The earlier attempt was slightly better, but Mason still was a bit scared of the jolly old man. He gave it a good effort though.

Next time Santa will say his nicknames a little louder so he can hear them rather than try to whisper them thinking that soothing words would help. Maybe if he tickled him or something too..........there is always next year to try.

Love you Mason, great job and thank you so much for that opportunity it meant an awful lot to me.
