Advent Day Thirteen

Today was a Mommy/Mason date.  We planned to go to the mall to get a special Lego set and possibly have lunch and play at the playground. 

We started at the Lego store where we played with the race track.....

And then we got our special ornament and also a couple of other sets as well : )

The next stop was to get a special gift for Daddy from Mason.  All Masons' idea so lets see if he keeps the secret ; )

Then it was time to play and get some energy out!

After an hour of running and climbing Mason decided it was time to eat!

As we were waiting for the elevator we took a few photos!

Once at home we started to build!

Daddy is working crazy hours thanks to the holiday season so it was up to Mommy and Mason to figure it all out!!!

These are our first regular size Legos and Mason did really well with them.  I was actually surprised how much he was able to do on his own.

Then came time for the reindeer.....

Well lets just say all Mason helped with was cutting the bag of pieces open.....

But in the end Mommy was successful and completed the final task!!! 

Today was a very special day for both of us.  Even though I am home with Mason everyday we don't do many all day special days together and it was fun to not have a real plan or to do list today♡♡

Now we are snuggling on the couch watching cartoons together!  Great end to a great day!
